The bird is made with a Mahogany centre body with side panels of Pine. The leaves of the flower are laminated Pine and Mahogany with stamens of Black Oak.Detail of the flower. The petals or leaves are laminated then the Mahogany is carved through to show the Pine.The flower centre is probably Lacewood.
